So how does it work? Traditional nail polishes contain water proof elements which create a barrier stopping water from reaching the nail beds. Our water permeable polishes do not contain any waterproof ingredients such as camphor, formaldehyde and toluene therefore enabling the colour polymers to allow water to reach the nails instead of repelling it. The concept is similar to hair dye which is labelled as permanent yet is still water permeable allowing water to pass through therefore being permissible. The water permeability of our formula has been independently lab tested and certified.
